Founding Member

Landon is fond of spontaneous adventures, burning the candle at both ends, and learning new things, which lends itself perfectly to this quest of building a Shala in honor of Erin.

As of the time of this writing he has stepped away from his full time job as a School Psychologist in order to become Super Dudey, IYKYK.

Landon is currently pursuing certifications in Permaculture Design, Qigong, and Welding. When not studying he can be found down at the Shala site chopping wood, redirecting water, cutting down trees, milling timbers, shaping the driveway, building infrastructure, and striving to make Erin’s spirit smile.

He is the owner of Scorpioneel Enterprises, which offers a range of places to stay in Fayetteville for weekend adventures as well as experiential learning opportunities which will be forthcoming in 2026!

Lauri is passionate about ice cream, random one-liners, and naps. In a previous timeline, Lauri worked at NASA (not as a rocket scientist, nor as an astronaut).

Lauri rarely stays home and loves to travel. She enjoys a cutesy small downtown and the Christmas season.

Lauri is a 500RYT with nearly 1000 hours of training & teaching in various modalities, including Vinyasa, Kundalini, Nidra, QiGong, Sound Healing, Enneagram, Lunar Wisdom, Ayurveda, Tarot, Thai Energywork, Reiki, Meditation, Self-Awareness, & more. You will find her hosting Retreats, Soul Sessions, Moon Circles, and other Classes, as well as offering private healing services.

Lauri is the owner of The Appalachian Healer and is based out of Fairmont, WV and you will also find her offering classes & retreats in Fayetteville, WV.

Kelsey is the endless organizer, planner, and spreadsheet whisperer — the one who keeps everything (and everyone) running smoothly. A natural multitasker, she brings a rare blend of calm focus and get-it-done energy to every project she touches.

With 15 years of yoga practice and a 200-hour Ashtanga/Vinyasa teacher training, Kelsey believes balance isn’t just something you find on the mat — it’s something you build into daily life. Her years in property and project management taught her the art of juggling details, deadlines, and people with grace.

When she’s not planning, organizing, or leading, you’ll find her outside — hiking or biking through forest trails with her dog toward the next scenic overlook.

Kelsey brings heart, humor, and a grounded sense of purpose to every role she takes on — proving that structure and spontaneity really can coexist.

Guardian of the Shala

Osa is also known as Oda, Bear, Oda-Bear, Boba, & Friend. Osa is passionate about treats, dinner-time (5PM, non-negotiable), and not being left alone at home.

She also enjoys taking an adult on a daily walk, getting the zoomies on the trail, and picking fights with dogs that she clearly cannot win against (though they usually back off and know that she is the alpha, despite her small stature).

Osa is fond of a morning, mid-day, or evening nap, a pup-cup, & cuddles on the couch, as long as she is in the “good spot” with a cozy blanket.
